Zentangle is a meditative method of pattern drawing which can be learned by anyone, even if you believe you “can’t draw”. Especially if you believe you “can’t draw”.
It is relaxing, creative, and fun.
I began tangling in January 2015 when going through a very stressful time. I loved it so much, that I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) in June 2017 so that I could share this wonderful art form with others.
My background is in art and biology, so I am really into patterns.
Zentangle can fit into a busy life. Many people have used a Zentangle practice to help them to manage stress or cope with health problems. Others use a Zentangle practice to create an oasis of tranquility for themselves, or simply to have a handy creative outlet (it’s very portable).
Taking a class with a CZT is a great way to get your practice started, or to enhance one you’ve already begun.
I’d love to be your guide into the world of Zentangle. You can learn more by checking out the Blog. While you’re here, visit the Schedule of Upcoming Classes. Feel free to contact me with questions or requests for private classes for yourself and your friends in the Atlanta metro area.
Valerie Hayes, CZT
